The Sousaphone section paired up with the trumpet section in this year's competition.  The sousies took charge of the group, by coming up with the show / music ideas, and by running a smooth rehearsal.  The group did a spoof on the runway walk-off competition from the movie Zoolander.  They preformed the Marching Hundred version of the Michael Jackson Melody which was performed a couple years ago.

"Head, shoulder, knees, and OLD GUYS, knees and OLD GUYS." Since Graham was the only old guy in the section, Aaron and Luke (Flipper) joined him.

Sousy Camping 2005, Jeremiah's House, Spencer, Indiana.

We decided that we would chop down trees in Jeremiah's front yard so that we could keep warm.  Joe and I both took turns at chopping.  In the middle you see our rigged shelter incase of rain.  We are pretty smart for a group of sousaphone players.  To the right you see Kendra and Courtney showing Jeremiah how to set up the tent.

Above you see some of the people that went camping.  Upper right, Kendra and Courtney gather rocks for the fire pit.  Upper left, Joe the lumberjack shows us his booty. Then Graham and Jamal get lost in the woods, I think Jamal lost the map, or he peed on it or something.  Later in the night, we started entertaining ourselves by jumping over the fire, here are pictures...
